Kristina Bozhurska is an artist, culturol- ogist and art educator at the Quality International School of Skopje. She works in the field of social art practice, based on socio-political observation. In her artistic work she uses a multitude of techniques and materials, including ready-made objects, painting, drawing, text or video. She accomplished an art residency at ISCP New York and has taken part in Arte Utile course led by Tania Bruguera at the Salzburg Summer Art Academy in 2013. She has been awarded for the best video in category Nano Minute at the International video festival in Brazil (2008); and has received the (YVAA)”Denes” - award for a young artist for 2010.
